Restructuring by increasing the energy efficiency of buildings using natural materials is possible.
Earth, straw, natural fibers, lime, sand allow us to have excellent energetic performance combined with the advantage of improving the quality and healthiness of the town. These materials are relatively easy to use and give vent to our creativity.
Eco Village Gaia Terra: 15000 sqm of farmland and 6000 sqm of woodland. 4000 sqm covered with various destinations and types of intervention. A small area of 60 sqm on two floors will be the subject of the course.

WHATO WE’LL WE DO: the course is practical/theoretical, we will put ‘ hands in dough ‘ in different types of plaster mixes.
The clay, the Earth, is not the same everywhere, we will discover how to know it and how to check if it is usable to make plasters. Bring, if you have, one kilogram of your land so we will study it together.
We will see what ingredients to use for natural plasters, how to design the stratigraphy of a wall to improve energy performance.
But above all we will touch with hand (and not only) the doughs, we will try various tools to apply the plaster.
COST: 125, includes two lunches and lodging in tents for those who wish.
WHAT TO BRING: tent, sleeping bag, towel, desire to adapt and stay in the wild! Something to share for dinner on a Friday night.
MEALS: At noon we will eat something quick on the spot. Who has problems with intolerance or allergies please give Debora a word. For dinner on Friday night everyone is invited to bring something to share, the other dinners will be self-managed (we can arrange to go together to eat something nearby or do a shopping and manage us dinner).
